Hose clamps can fix many things when your miles from no where! Eric

Those are not the joints that timbersled sends with there kits. They use steel rod ends. I replaced them with aluminum for this year. Took another 3lbs off the front end. I put them through a good work out and a few moderate hits with no problem. When I broke it I was comign down hill to help a stuck friend and hooked a stump really bad. I think If it didnt break I found have bent something.

Hose clamps come in very handy. Last year I broke my mountain strap (6500 miles of boondocking!) on a deep day and we used 8mm climbing cord looped around the bar and hose clamped to the strap to make it useable for the rest of the trip.

A good way to carry them is to just clamp them to brackets under your hood. There out of the way and there when you need them. I would also suggest a cheap 5/16 nut driver to speed up the repairs :) Eric
