Me and my parents went riding last season between Dec 24th and January 1st in the twin lakes area. We were extremely lucky to have the snow, b/c basically they had only about 2 in. of snow 2 days before, and got about 14-15 in. the night before we came. Sorry...most of these pictures are of scenery.
Out in front of the cabin at wyandotte golf course.
Trail 3 just south of twin lakes. Me out in front. Smooth conditions.
Looking over the firesteel bridges
Trail 3 closer to greenland
Off trail riding near twin lakes
Trail 3 closer to trail 120 (Freda Trail)
South near Rockland
The western U.P had slightly less snow. This is on trail 13 close to trail 101.
Dont remember what trail, but I think its near bergland.
After 3 days of riding on the trails, traffic became heavy the day after christmas and conditions went from near excellent in most areas to maybe fair, so we did some off trail exploration the rest of the 5 days of our stay.
We where treated to seens like this... near pike lake south of Krupps...
Some logging road with great snow
