Trail 13 loop out of Greenland or Twin Lakes IS NOW OPEN for snowmobilers.
Signs are posted-Please be aware of Logging in the area. Several large orange signs have been put up along with caution & arrows. The orange signs will give you notice. The groomer has also done what they can do to get things started but there is a section of about 3 miles that the groomer has not driven over due to breaking thru the ice. What is needed is the snowmobiles going over the wet areas to help get them frozen deeper. Snowmobiles will not break thru the present ice covering but a 22,000 lb. groomer will. Please respect the signs and travel with caution-we are grateful the club has been given permission to share use of the trail while logging is in progress.
Seems we are getting some fresh snow every day and LES should visit this area with their prediction of 8-12 inches by Monday morning (the 19th)
