hey guys sorry I didn't get back to you sooner-
I did put the twist throttle on my 04 800 summit and rode it in the woods of the UP. At the time the 800 had the mountain gearing (low)
so the sled was real snappy with even a little twist of the throttle.
I got used to it and liked the grip I had , but it was just too touchy in the woods . I only replaced one bumper so in the end it was a good test!
I have an 05 600 renagade with less power and higher gearing-
I may put the twist throttle on that later this year. That sled is for logging roads and trails and not so much tight woods ridding , so I think I might be ok on the 600-(the twist throttle is heated) I will let you let you know if I get around to trying it. Thanks for your input last year on this issue.
