UP Grouse hunting

Can anyone give a hunting report for this year so far on grouse? Headed to Marquette co. the 16th for a cast-n-blast trip - just wondering if I'll see many (or any?) birds . . .thanks much

Lots around rockland this year. Kids get 3-4 each time out

Lots of birds in Paulding...we're full with hunters and their all pretty happy! Happy enough to give me dinner for tomorrow. I'm thinking you'll have a good trip!

MN is also having a pretty good year. The drum counts are high!

The Twin Lakes area has a ton this year. My buddy got back this week and ended up with 18 birds in 4 days of hunting around the Pike Lake Rd area...
