UP Off Trail New Years Weekend (Central or West)

Looking very likely that I will be in the Yoop without any of my normal riding buddies over New Years weekend. This year is the 1 in 5 or so that my wife makes me go to Texas for Xmas but I will be back before New Years and likely heading straight up north. I stay at my families camp in Gwinn (usually always ride out of there) but wouldn't mind throwing the sled in my truck and going east to Munising or somewhere on the west end for a day or so to meet up with some new people and expand my horizons a bit. I ride an M8 and should probably be able to tag along without holding people up. Not sure if I will be driving up 29 or 30 but probably one of those days.

Off-trail will be very dangerous in the UP this season with the lower than normal snow conditions to start the season. I think your better off sticking to the trails. Check your PMs.

I wouldn't say that. The season is VERY early and a lot will change before the new year.
