UP Trail Conditions

Looking for conditions (e.g. good, bad, fair, hasn't been groomed, etc...) on the following trails:
#102 Between #11 and Bergland
#13 Bergland to Rockland
#109 Twin Lakes to #12

I ask because these can sometimes be a little rough. Just trying to plan riding routes appropriately. Thanks!

102 fair, 13 from bergland to rockland is poor! 12 from ontonagan to Greenland much better than 13 from bergland to rockland, and 13 from rockland to twin lakes nearly unridable(. Lack of grooming)

how long ago did you ride these trails? when you say trail 13 are you talking the railroad bed? Billy Nichols or whatever they call it? I rode it at the beginning of December and it was fine, so my mind is struggling to get around how it would be unridable now, considering the snow they've gotten. Too much snow? I'm confused

I stayed in Bergland this past weekend and the only good trails were up in ontanagon white pine 11. To 102 awesome 102 was not groomed and it was aweful, I would hope it has been groomed by now ,lots of traffic this past weekend so I expected rough trails but holy **** usually they would groom at night and that didn't happen for some reason, not sure I will stay there again as it sucks getting out of there to decent condition

I'm guessing he is talking the trail #13 loop which goes out the back
of Pat's Motorsports and just recently got a reroute due to being closed
for logging. Trail #3 is the Bill Nichols I believe.

So it sounds like #13 between Bergland and Rockland was poor huh.
That is too bad if that is the case because that is the best route from
Greenland to Lake Gogebic. Crossing fingers that is improving as I type.

I saw the groomer coming out on 13 by twin lakes so that should be good for sure now ,Greenland to Rockland was rough but they were grooming it just too many sleds

We rode trail 13 from twin lakes to Greenland last Sunday afternoon. We only saw one group of sleds. Traffic seemed relatively light but it did not seem like the trails had been groomed in quite a while. There were several low spots with water so I don't know if the groomer could even get through. But it was brutal. The initial stretch coming out of twin lakes was good. But then it seemed like the grooming had stopped.

Is Gogebic lake safe to ride on yet or are they recommending to stay off? plan on riding this Sunday through Tuesday and staying at Gogebic lodge. we usually run the lake across to the root cellar and up to the hoop a few times, safe or not? thanks

The report I got from Bergland is that sleds have been running it for a couple weeks now. Lot of tracks on the webcams.

We rode the west shore without a problem. We did not cross the middle but did see a few people doing it. Should be fine from Fish Tales to the Root Cellar now

We rode the lake Bergland Bay bar to Hoop then ran the whole lake to the end to the park and it was fine. Plenty of traffic out there and ice is fine now.
