Looking to get a set of v force 3 reeds for my 08 shift 600.First question,do you need to rejet after instalation? Second question does anyone no the right part number for my sled, they offer a couple different ones for Polaris twins? And last are reeds really that noticable, are they worth it.

Thanks .

V-Force

600 Carburated (Carb.) 2008-09 (Part # - V3132-873A-2)

Gasket part number - G3132

The part number you want is listed above. The other part numbers are for sleds that are different years. Rejetting is not required. These are bolt on and go.

(This is from their website) Typically, there is no need to rejet after installing the VForce Reed Valve System. If you have previously jetted your machine to work well with your stock reed valve you should have no problems. However, we do recommend that you check the plugs after your first ride to make sure that there is not a drastic change. Unfortunately we cannot offer advice on jetting guidelines since there are so many variables that will affect your jetting... such as climate, elevation, other existing mods and more.

Typical gains are 5+% more horsepower throughout the RPM range, depending on motor configuration. Added benefits also include explosive acceleration, crisper throttle response and wider peak horsepower. You can find more info about the VForce advantage throughout our site.

I put v-force 3 reeds on my fusion 700 and could barely notice the difference. The only notice I could experience was better acceleration from the quick throttle response you get. Most racers use them due to the power gains they get with all of the mods they have done. Make sure you get 4 gaskets with your set. A gasket will go on each side of the reed. Depending on the miles you put on your sled in a year, you should have them checked annually to make sure the reeds are in good condition. A replacment set could cost you around $120.00. Hope this helps.
