Video from our Mercer Ride

Finally got around to screening the video from last weekend in Iron County. Friday's Cam was mounted too low and cut off everyone's head. Saturday I had the correct angle but no video of our group. I'd refer you to the pix on the other thread to see some faces. Therefore, I made this a short one as it will indicate some of the trails we traveled north and west of Mercer. It runs just over a minute and is safe for the workplace.

Great video, Gary! I bet you were glad you made the trip. Looks like it will be done in Northeast/Central Wisconsin after this week. 45 degrees and sunny in Green Bay today - Yikes!

Yeah, we were lucky to catch the end of the really cold stuff and before the melt down. Still snow in the north but it's going to be a challenge.

Awesome video Gary.  Thx....  I could watch it for miles.  If you can figure out how to send the burnt fuel or 2-stoke smells, it would deserve an Emmy.

Nice video Gary
I maybe in the minority but I’d rather just here the motor than the funky music.

I’ve heard that Cecil B. DeMille occasionally had the same issue. Glad to see you’re still in the video biz. Years from now, you’ll still enjoy pulling them out once in a while and watching them again. That sure is a pretty stretch of trail. I’ve never ridden that area but it reminds me of the terrain around Clam Lake.
What are you using for a camera now? I hate to admit it, but I may have to cross over to the dark side and go the GoPro route next year. I love the convenience of operation of my Roam cameras but when you see video of the same scene shot with both camera brands, the GoPro footage is just much sharper and brighter.

Hey Ski, how you been? Waiting for updates on the Green Machine out in your shop. That video was shot about 30 miles northeast of Clam Lake so you were close. The Cam is a GoPro Session and with all things technical, they don't make it anymore. I chose it because of it's small size and quality. The thing is flawless so not sure why they discontinued it. I still edit with the Power Director series.

Not sure if anyone caught my mistake. At the beginning of the vid where I'm panning Lake Superior the banner reads Saxton Harbor, Wisconsin. Well....it's spelled S A X S O N but after a few hours of editing and uploading I decided I'm gonna live with it and my apologies to the people of SAXSON. You've got a snowmobile friendly town there and we enjoyed our stop at the Pub.
