Vilas County Lake Low Water Levels

Just not impressed with current lake water levels usually way up at this time. More snow melt to go but I think most of that water will soak into the ground. Still can rain/snow lots more but not looking good right now.

If things don't change will deff be in a drought down here this summer dust is already flying on the jobsites and rock quarrys

When we were up two weekends ago the level on North Twin was lower than in January. I'm wondering if they were anticipating big snows like last winter and drew it down too far. After 2 good years it looks like we're going to have to build another dock section again, unless we get a some big spring rains.. Fire danger is High to Very High in West central WI as of today...

Spectacle Lake has natural level at outlet creek some spring water but mostly runoff looks super low for this time of year but can come up quickly with steep terrain back from the lake. I'm level facing south at the lake with gradual slope to the road so have to see how Spring rain shakes out but low at my shore now more like late July. Never seen it this low durning melt & had plenty of snow all winter.
