It should if they get the snow, with that said the ice base will still be underneath and it won’t take long to blow the snow out of all the corners back down to ice.

In my opinion the trails will be icy, especially in the corners, just hope everyone is careful and no accidents this weekend.

Well the good thing is it's supposed to get down to zero tonight so if groomed it should set up good.

With all the new snow coming this week, will that be enough to counter the icy trail base?

Thanks
Coming down hard in Presque Isle and adding up quickly at 8:30 am. 6" plus since last night here. Can't see the lakeshore at times which is 80 feet from the deck. Did not ride yesterday but PI/Winchester did groom. Trails looked great from the car yesterday. Heading out shortly and will update later on trail conditions if I can. I think it should be a great weekend to ride but like pclark said, solid ice base under all of this new powder snow.

Light powdery snow so trails will eventually be icy again.
Heavy traffic on Saturday took that 12" a fluff and ground it into an inch a flour. The ice base from early on is the only thing saving the trails this up and down weather season.
Keeping fingers crossed for a shot of wetter snow on Monday.
