Vilas Melting Fast Today!

That sun is something else today with temps in 40s! Snow level dropping before my eyes won't be long before bare ground with rain Monday,Tuesday
& Wednesday. I hope no one got caught far from home on trails today going to be mud by 5PM. Apex back on trailer by noon didn't get a chance to
wash down maybe on Friday. Do you think I'm done? Fat Lady has not sung for Vilas yet but can't be long now.

It's 40's and 50's all this week so it isn't looking good. I'd say it's likely we are done in Vilas for the year. If they close the trails they probably won't reopen.

i think its caput. temps for next 14 days call for 40's, 50's, with a possible 60 or two mixed in.
Wash it up WD.

Oh yeah...just saw John's long range forecast Vilas is toast. I'll proceed with equipment clean up & storeage. With all that rain Vilas trails will close no way to get heavy equipment out there to move downed trees or even pan. Difficult year to say the least but I did have fun riding with buds in the UP but not much riding in Vilas just 100 miles in Forest just could not ride east this year on some of my fav trails. I'm looking forward to 2016 /2017 season already.lol :)
