Was just informed about an estate auction 7 miles south of Eagle River on Sept 5th. Looks like 15-20 sleds with old and new stock parts as well. Thought you guys that liked vintage sleds would be interested. Can be seen at www.almburgauctions.com. If this post is against rules please delete. Don't know anything about this, but just received the email from SnoEagles.

So I wonder if these would be technically considered "barn cats"?

There is some interesting stuff in the list and everything is being sold with no reserve so some people are going to get a bargain. On the flip side I think the 634 Panther with Montana pipes will bring some dough. The pipes alone are probably worth a grand.

Would be fun to be there and look over the sleds and the parts/accessories. Probably some pretty hard to find items in that inventory.

Wow, you missed one heckavan auction. Over 30 vintage sleds, many in working condition. Plus a hug amount of parts and accessories including vintage clothing. Most things went very cheap. My guess is that 60-80% will be at haydays next week. Rev

Dang! Would have never thought stuff would go cheap. Lots of cool stuff. Guess I should have appointed you to be my agent

You're probably right that some of it will show up at swaps or on-line in the future at a much higher price but I suppose that is the price that one pays for not attending first-hand.

Thanks for the update.
