Hey Peeps!

As I get up there in AGE,... I am finding that the thinning (eliminating) of the Vintage herd,..
well,... isn't so bad I guess. But because it was such an addiction, I guess I can't just totally
"get out",..Since my new bionic hip replacement and weight loss has made me feel a much better
individual,... I guess I am still in search of that ONE Vintage sled of the childhood for some darn
reason. The ONE that ya remember sitting in front of Dad,... banging your head on the handlbars,...
The one that HE let ya drive,...tip over,...ect.,...
The 1969 Polaris Mustang.
The one that will carry my large arse off into the sunset! LOL!
I suppose a 70 or 71 will be nice,... but will always,... well,....

Anyway,... I currently have a 1971 Charger. It has a 294 HOOD but an original
440 engine or the other way around,.... it is a good 8 out of a 10.
I'd post pictures,... but I am sick of failing at it!!!! LOL.
I would consider an Even trade and I'd put up the extra cash of course if the
Mustang was N I C E,... now I mean,.... (turn the key, pull start,.. drive and drive,..)
NO WORK!!!

All the Charger needs really is some new slides. runs great!
But really,... I am 6'5" 340lbs,... Elephant on a Skateboard!

So,... at 54,...
Am I asking Ya'll to keep your ears and eyes open for a N I C E one!
Cuz I am not going to travel to pick up a fixer upper,... I just don't have
the time, ability, patience, ect.,....like I used to

I'll go back to my corner and fall asleep now!
Happy Vintage trails my friends!

Oh,... I know this may pizz ya off,.. but I was also considering if I can't FIND my dream sled,...
perhaps making the Charger into a (Having my engineer friend that is),... Proto sled??
Putting a modern track and suspension under it,... A-Arm configuration,.... what the heck?
It would ride nice,...look like a modern-vintage-morph???
just another thought?

For Sale: Two 1969 Polaris Mustangs. Both have 372 JLO motors. One is running, one is an almost whole parts machine. The runner has had a carb kit put in and all fuel lines replaced. Wiring was repaired and cleaned up as well. Tank is clean and seat is in good shape. The parts machine is missing a few motor parts and a fuel tank otherwise everything else is there. Both chassis are straight and surface rust only. I am asking $400.00 for both machines and a handful of other parts. Feel free to email call or text with any questions you may have. Thanks in advance and thanks VS for the space.

I have 3 1971 Polaris Mustangs I’m thinking about selling. Two of them are in great shape no tears in the seats, hardly any cracks in the hood, no rust on the tunnels, but they have some pitting on the chrome. Both are electric start. One is a 398cc the other a 488cc, both have rubber tracks in good shape. The 3rd Mustang is just for parts. The 398 is turn key the 488 has some electrical issues. You can PM me if your interested.
