Vipers

After selling my Sidewinder due to shoulder surgery & taking the year off I have been looking for a sled for my wife & trying to find a deal, after watching the prices soar this year on used sleds & missing out on 3 really good deals I got lucky on Thursday. Found 2 2016 LTX 137 Vipers , 1 red & 1 Blue, I was really looking for a Sidewinder for myself and Viper for her I found these two, she will drive the red one and I will keep the blue one for myself but not sure if I will sell it or drive it yet but I could not pass up, the blue one has 175 miles on in the red one has 112 miles on it with warranty till April of this year! Could not believe it! I hope everyone is getting out to get a ride in with the conditions, & notice they are finally getting snow & should finally be a start for a good year for you guys! Be safe!

That sounds like a great deal Paul!! Were they carryover new sleds or did someone buy them and just never ride them? The belts are just broken in. :)

Thx Mark,He bought them in April 2016 and changed his job and didn’t have time to ride & didn’t have time to travel to find snow!

27,000 miles on 2015 and 2017 Vipers you can't go wrong never stranded me. Never had to do anything but regular maintenance or the Yamaha warranty paid for it. Just got $6000 for my 2017 Viper ltx le with 12000 miles. Have a 2020 Viper that I need to ride this year.

I agree harvest, had a 2013 Apex with 12,000 miles on, 2018 Sidewinder with 9000 miles & a couple of vipers with 8 to 9000 miles on, since I switched from Polaris in 2013 I couldn’t be happier

You could always add a turbo to the blue one? I know a number of guys that have logged a shipload of miles on that setup.

Change out your relays for the sealed ones, and junk the tri hub. Also suggest getting the Stingray Mods front skid spring. Incredible help in ski pressure and transfer out of the corners. Guys with higher mile Vipers did you guys have any issues with bearings on the upper and lower jack shafts?
