Voltage regulator on XP?

This may seem like a stupid question, but where is the voltage regulator on an XP. My last sled was a 2007 rev and it was under the hood
In a fuse box with easy access. There is a fuse box in the hood on the 2011 but I can not figure out how to open it, it seems screwed in. Finally
Does anyone know the NAPA stock number for the voltage regulator on a 2011? I have learned over the years to carry a spare.

Need more info, what model do you have? I know that the 600 ACE, 800 PowerTek and 1200 engines have a regulator but, I believe the 600 and 800 E-TEC have a capacitor. Part numbers are different for all models. E-tecs have same part number.

Are you sure you're thinking regulator and not relay? I have an '07 rev and the regulator is not in the fuse box, it is mounted to the bulk head in front of the recoil next to the shock mount bolt. The relay's are in the fuse box. I have replaced my regulator twice, so I know where it is!!! I also know you can get the relay from Napa, not the regulator. I do not remember the Napa part number.

your right, I mean to say relay switch! My sled is a 2011 XP TNT carb not etech. So my questions still remain, where is it? how do you get to it? and what is the NAPA part number?

thanks!!!

Just picked up my 2012 800 e-tec renegade yesterday and asked the mechanic the same question. He ststed that the e-tecs do not have relays, just 2 fuses on mine by the battery.

So does the straight carb 600 have a relay? Or are all the Xp's the same as yours and no longer have a relay?

I found it! It is just above the battery, right by all the fuses. The stock number on it is 1 number off of my old relays.
