I have never been snowmobiling in the Voyageur National park area, but a buddy of mine has been telling me about it for three years. My wife and I went up to that area this past Wednesday thru Sunday and had an absolute blast!! The scenery is fantastic at a nice pace of riding! The resort owners are just very nice people. We were referred to John at Sunset Resort and had a very reasonable stay w/ a clean, nice cabin. Great guy...

We really enjoyed the owners of Ash Trail Lodge w/ their food and hospitality. Steve, Deb and Tom are awesome people w/ a terrific lodge of food and spirits that support the John Dee website. We are looking forward to going back to Ash Trail Lodge in March. This is a trip we received from the auction in last years "Make-a-Wish" Ride-In. Bid that trip to get it, because you won't be disappointed!!

What an enjoyable trip w/ such great service.. Tons of super trails w/ all different types of riding. Powder and trails.......

My brother and I love staying at the Wildlife Refuge w/ Dave and Lori.. Going next week and can't wait!!!! Or we hang at Krupps Resort for the Michigan stay, but if you are looking for an alternative in Northern MN, I would highly recommend the Ash Trail area. Trails were groomed and nice, riding was very relaxed and the people are fantastic....

My wife is a Texas girl, riding for about 4 years and she is hooked, even though we were riding in 5 degree weather!!

Enjoy your ride like it's your last!! Life is short, but the ride is great!!

Double Sweet! We'll be up there in early Feb. Many in our group have ridden there before but this will be my first trip to the Ash River area - really looking forward to it.

brrrrrr!

If your sled starts, now you can say you rode in -35 degree weather. I would just have some cocktails and stay at the lodge...
Good Luck!!
