Probably going to just ride around home the next few days but thinking of heading towards Wabasha area for some different scenery anyone know how the trails are in Wabasha area north, south, west, or if you can cross into WI. Was leaning towards parking somewhere near Zumbrota possibly and riding east any suggestions or conditions would be helpful thanks.

cross over into WI?? As in cross over the Mississippi???????? Snowchief------------why not ride from home??? There is a nice AmericInn in Wabasha. The riding in that area is great. I don't know of any river crossings, but there has to be one somewhere on Lake Pepin. (maybe in Lake City??) Maybe not this year because of weather but I'm sure someone probably has the answer to this. I have always wanted to make a loop down that way, crossing to Wisc. and then riding north again.
I have heard that you can cross the mighty Mississippi at lake pepin just haven't found out if it is true for sure or not. Figured if I drive in the truck for an hour then can hit more of the trails in that area and still be home for the night nice to see different areas and have been there in the summer and like everywhere I go in the summer I imagine what there trails are like in the winter. I probably will end up riding around home if trails are good
