Want recommendations for Yellow Stone Park tours

We would like to go ride through Yellow Stone Park. We are from Iowa and have never been out west. Just looking for trail riding recommendations and also good places to stay and rent sleds.

The tours thru the actual Yellowstone park are guided and you must ride their 4-stroke rentals that the tour provides..I don't know the name of the outfit that does the tours but I do know that they are pretty full and you might have to pick and choose dates.... as far as the trails west of the park (going west out of West Yellowstone) are awesome.... I was there last week and the traffic was very low and the trails were velvety smooth... There are numerous places to stay in West Yellowstone...Chain Hotels, Cabins, You name it.....Pubs with good food too. Island Park, ID is close to there too with many more miles to ride.

Call POLARIS WEST in West Yellowstone. (406) 646-7773

They rent sleds ($ 145-4-strokes & RMK 800's $ 170 per day) and

provide the guides (approx $ 125-$ 150 per day, ONE guide can accommodate up to a group of 10)

Same owner also owns the Days Inn across the street, stay there and rent and they discount it 10%

4-strokes for "IN" THE PARK, 2-strokes everywhere else.

There is a daily limit for the quantity of sleds allowed inside the park per day, but that's usually not a problem

Usually we spend only (1) day INSIDE the Park on 4-stroke sleds, and the remainder outside the Park ON 2-STROKE SLEDS
