warm weather/trail conditions

Know it is a week away but pretty much all forecast models looking the same unfortunately, my son and I are heading up to keewenaw arriving the 22nd and leaving the 26th every year we have gone we have had nothing but stellar trail conditions and hats off to the trail grooming community for doing such a great job on such a beautiful trail system. with the warm weather forecasted is there a point or a temperature that the groomers will not go out and what can I expect for conditions if the warmth holds true, looks like it may push 40 next weekend but upper thirties starting that monday and slowly cooling off after that. I hope that things will change before then for the better, but you cant predict the weather.

I can't speak for them up there, but I would not groom when it's above freezing as the snow is hard to work with. I'm sure they will only be grooming at night when it gets below 32 and it looks like a few nights may not get below freezing in a row next Friday and Saturday night. Since you arrive Sunday, hopefully the cool off will begin. I hope it turns out well for you and your son, those are memorable trips!
