Ordered a mount for my Garmin, got e-mails telling me it was received then shipped, card was charged and 2 weeks later no arrival of merchandise, e-mailed 3 times, called 3 times no responce, checked with BBB (Better Business Bureau) They gave em an F rating, called my charge card company their gonna put the hounds to em, although it's $52.00 now I want revenge for trying to stick me.

Maybe check BBB in advance next time? Getting burned on the internet sucks. I have driven to a neighboring state to personally visit a company that did this to me. I never did get my money but I feel a whole lot better about it ;)

Just do as much research as you can. Low $ purchases are ok to take some risk to me. Over 50$ I check around if I have never done business with them before. Searching Google or any other search engine for the company name will give you a good idea if they jack people around.

That really sucks. There are %$# holes out there. I have been lucky so far with such transactions but I suppose my time is coming too. Hednup - Doesn't Garmin make a RAM mount for your application?

Ram makes a ram mount for Garmin. We knew what you meant. Ram seems to have the market on mounts.

The BBB has little or no power anymore. If not a member, they will not disclose info to you any more for fear of being sued. I am no longer a BBB member because it does not one thing to build my business. They can only hurt you if you do wrong or are accused of doing wrong and are a member, why take the risk. What I am saying is if the mount co. is a member the BBB can give you info, if not than they are not suppose to for fear of a law suit for defimation.

GPS CITY is a great place to get ram mounts. I got one for my nuvi 500. They have great service. It's a shame some places are in business. Good luck in the future.

Anyone else have issues with this company? I was just about to enter my credit card # in for a gps hardwire kit when I looked at the address bar on top of browser and realized that it was http and not https (secure) then I stopped-remembering that I had seen this thread and found it was the same company. If these guys are no good, where else can I get one of these setups? looks like something that could be easily made, but for their advertised $14.95 and no shipping charge, I'd say its hardly worth the hassle.
