john I see in your journals all the water falls you go too.
I would love to bring my wife up this summer on the motorcycle and I am wondering can I get to those places by motorcycle or are they only seen by off road

Keep in mind that as the summer progresses, the water level on the rivers and streams tends to drop, so the drama that the falls present will also drop. The optimal waterfall viewing time is in April, or whenever the snow melt is going on most rapidly. Typically by late May the main high water season is over and then the rivers just slowly quiet down until the rains of autumn hit.

thank you john I will keep that in mind. I mainly wanted to show my wife the beauty of that area.

We hit a lot of the falls in western UP late July last summer. Tips: don't forget bug spray, waterproof hiking shoes, and a towel.
