Staying in the Munising, MI area this weekend and we are looking for other areas near snowmobile trails to check out besides Miners Falls.

Preferably accessible by snowmobile trail. We plan to see miners castle, miners falls, pictured rocks, eben ice caves, kitch-iti-kipi, and swing by lakenenland sculpture park. Is there any other worth while sites to see and impressive waterfalls like the western UP has in Bond Falls? Thanks in advance.

Tahquamenon falls.... long ride but worth it, and not a waterfall but well worth seeing Big Spring near Jack Pine

the last time i was to miners falls it was very cold that year and the falls were actually running under a shroud of ice which was cool. And as blkhwkbob stated, if you make it to big spring bring a fishing pole as one time we were there there were some i believe trout swimming in the spring, i think the spring is 40 feet deep and the water is so clear it was as if you were looking into a foot of water, and you can see the water bubbling out of the bottom of the spring, well worth the stop. When you are in the area stop in to jack pine, neat place and good food.

I'm joking about the fishing pole. No fishing allowed.

A must stop is kitch-iti-kipi spring! I was their this past summer and it is very cool! I want to come back and see it in the winter time with the snow! But definitely don't bring your fishing pole their! I almost got kicked out for having a fishing pole their this summer with a gopro on the end of it. I dropped the gopro down 40ft and made a cool video but the people around me were very upset thinking I was fishing and had to show everyone several times I was filming hahaha

Take a look at the video I did, may make you want to stop.... https://youtu.be/dgp8h2tlNXg
