I have seen and previously had in my posession a map that covers the snowmobile trails for the entire U.P. I remember purchasing it somewhere in the Munising area for like $7, and it was waterproof. I asked around the snow snow in Milwaukee this weekend and a few folks knew of the map but not where to get it. Does anyone know where I can purchase a 2010-2011 version of that map?

I have the map you are talking of. I don't believe they produce a new version every year. I got mine at the welcome center in St. Ignace just north of da bridge.

I just dug thru my map bag ( it'a a duffle bag) that's filled with maps of everywhere I have been.( It assures... that when I get lost again I really feel like an idiot. ( LOL ) I have one of those from the " 05-06" season. It was sponsored in part by the Bay Mills Resort in Brimley. It was distributed by : UPM Inc. P.O. Box 26, Arnold MI, 40819. Phone # 1-906-238-4408. That's a place to start. It's the " Tear Proof - Water Proof " map I think your talking about. It was $4 back then.

MJ, I had 3 large stacks from, WI,MN,MI, with big rubberbands holding then together, I kept the old ones because I would write the good boondocking spots, hotels, bars/food and routes that were really nice. Friends who did not get to go on many trips thought I was crazy, the fun part was when I would ride in an area I knew and never looked at a map all weekend, took everyone to all the sweet spots, most not on a map anyway. The fun part was when the group would think we were lost, They were, but I knew exacty where I was. LOL.
