Thinking about staying at the casino hotel north of Watersmeet. Anyone know if it is easy to get to the trail?

Any other suggestions for lodging around there?

There is a feeder trail from the main trail, not sure of the trail number, that runs to the casino. There is also the running bear resort in Paulding, which is just north of the casino. Nice little cabins, nice owners.

You can be on trail 2 in about 2 minutes from the Casino. Gas station right on the casino property as well.

Casino aok trail access right there but I would not leave my sleds out at night put back in trailer lots more secure at Running Bear Resort in Paulding + Mike & Linda are great and since Mike grooms you have the trail report from Mike or Linda each morning.
