Trail 3 all the way about 150 taking some other trails like 107 to 8/15 to 109 then some of the loops up near copper harbor closer to 185.

Yep we took three all the way up including Brockway Mountain
Next day we came home the same way it was -5 for the high temp that day.

I would recommend this route! 107 and 109 north of Sidnaw are a couple of the best trails you will ever ride! You need to take some loops to mix it up a bit. Take the Eagle River/Eagle Harbor loop up near Copper Harbor. It doesn't add but a handful of miles and is well worth it!

X2 cuts grades down a bit.

I usually will do the lac la belle trail and the trail on that side on the way up because it is getting dark, and then do brockway mountain the next morning in daylight then hit the eagle harbor loops and then decide when we get to twin lakes which way to go back to watersmeet. 109 to 8/15 to 107 a nicer ride, 3 to mass city to Bruce crossing to watersmeet is faster so it depends on time. Add on trail 13 from twin lakes to Greenland then down to mass to Bruce's is nice also but adds on extra 30 or so miles but also nicer then grade.

We rode from Wisconsin up to Watersmeet and then up to Trail 8 and I will verify what mspease says...probably the best trail I have been on. If you would need to make up some time, you can on that trail. If not mistaken, I think we made it from Watersmeet to Trail 8(Kenton) in an hour or less. We were highly motivated to get back to Champion where we left on our backpack trip so we could get to St. Ignace and take the ice bridge to Mackinac Island. Going to M. I. was on our bucket list for many years. Had an absolute great time on that island for the one night.
