watersmeet to houghton distance?

Coming up friday from iowa have room in houghton for Fri and Sat night if we park in watersmeet how far is it and what trails should we take or should we park farther north .just me my son riding. thanks

I would say your going to be 80 to 100 depending on the way you go. I think I would go up through Kenton for the best route may not have all the traffic as if you go up 3 to 8 to 13 Think I have that right

yep about 100 from watersmeet .... best route 2E to 107N to Kenton, 8W to Bruce Crossing to 3N....
trails improve greatly from BC north, and you can park at the BC C0-OP....

Agreed, true dat. Just did it two weeks ago. About 2.75 hours without stopping.

In Watersmeet you can drop at Nordine's food store or the casino and take harvest1122 route or take a longer route (still only about 100 miles and take 107 to Kenton then 8/15 through sidnaw to 109 that will take you into twin lakes area then 3 to houghton. This is my favorite route to get up to houghton if 109 is good.

So how far would you say from Bruce Crossing to Houghton? 80 miles or so each way? And you'd say trail 3 North is the best way to go?

Staying in Bruce Crossing this weekend, going up early Friday to do a little riding, then hoping to ride to Houghton and back round trip on Saturday.
