Watersmeet Trails

Well it's that time of the year the temps are on rise, lots of snow has melted and the U.P. Thunder Riders groomers stopped running 3/8/15 Without a good amount of new snow they hated to say this but it looks like Watersmeet trails may be done. If you know what your up against you could find good snow to ride, but it will be lots and lots of poor trails to get there. If conditions are favorable they can groom until the last day of March, even longer into April, weather and DNR permitting.

We rode that trail this past Saturday Sunday and Monday

We rode that area the same days and it was very good. Put on 420 miles in 48 hours. That's sad for March 12th!

sure is sad, we're falling apart fast up here to. Have not groomed since Sun night and unless we get new snow we are done. I guess someone could groom the grade between Rockland and Toivola for a few more evening when we drop below freezing.

We rode it Sunday morning and there was plenty of snow, what a difference.

Rode 450 miles between Greenland and Big Bay last Sunday and Monday and the trails were great ,albeit a little warm on Monday. Glad we made it up there.
