Left Dousman this morning and went northwest through Concord, up through Ixonia, Pipersville, up to Hustisford (Trail into Hustisford on 60 was not good, just needed to get gas) and then back to corridor 9 trail over to the Goose, north to Burnett, west to Beaver dam and around the north side to Fox Lake, Randolph, (About a 10 mile stretch around Randolph that was not groomed and pretty bumpy), south on corridor 13 toward Lowell, onto Reeseville, back down through Watertown, through Pipersville to Concord and back home to Dousman. Trails were pretty much 8-9, some 10's all day. Mileage at end of ride was 170 miles. If the sun comes out Wednesday the trails will take a beating. Probably should close trails for Wednesday and re-open Friday morning. Get out and ride in February as it is some of the best riding we have had in years down here!

Thanks for the report. Sounds like some good stuff. Am considering my next ride to be in the Dodge County area. Once again, new territory. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start and for parking on the Northern end of the County. Have heard the Wild Goose State trail mentioned in a few posts. Is there somewhere near for parking there? Any recommendations on routes, etc would be great. Thanks in advance.

Actually live in Waukesha county but rode almost all of Dodge last weekend from the Wild Goose east, north and south. All was groomed and good, some variance in snow depths, and heavy traffic. Iron Ridge area was questionable, but more of the non corridor club trails heading north and south. First time in 6+ years have I brought my sleds back down from my place up north, and to an extent, i am glad i did.

Here is the link to the Dodge county site with maps. They divide the county up in 5 areas, so you may need to look at a couple to figure out specifics. However numerous parking spots are noted, and you can always call a bar to see if they will let you park there.

Thanks. I did see that website and maps. I just need to figure out how to get them to print out regular size, instead of too tiny to see (which is what keeps happening now when I try to print.) Am coming from the Fox Valley area. So, was going to offshoot 41 to either 26 to 151 or just 151 in FDL. Just wondered where the closest decent snow was to dump off. I know nothing of the area, other than it's shaded dark blue on the Travel WI website, which indicates excellent snow conditions. lol.
