Well Frozen and pump replaced

Does any body have any experiance with having a well pump replaced? What should be a fair value of a RJ 75 jet pump. I had to have mine replaced because the heat lamp bulbs failed and the pump froze and broke. I think I got screwed big time.

I tried my insurance but I have a 1000 dollar deductable.

Mine froze last year. Big crack on the back side of the pump. Took it to a pump shop. They looked it over. Put a new casting on it and out the door for under a 100.00 and it runs like a champ.
