Well after knowing about it for 10 years I finally decide to drive the ice bridge and go to Mackinac Island on my snowmobile today! Soooo cool!!!

Awesome pics! The first image of the Grand Hotel brings back memories for me. I rented a horse/carriage from Jack's Livery and the darn thing decided to bolt down that very hill. Woa horse!

I just wear thin klim gloves. You would be amazed how much the hand guards help. All though I usually don't trail ride.
I sure would advise (verb) you to take that advice (noun)!

Most businesses were closed but we did find a bar open. There were a few loud sleds but most were driving very slow and respectful.

My dad and a group were there sunday I believe! A friend of his was diagnosed with ALS so they were doing one of his bucket list rides!

We rode to the island Saturday around lunch, cool experience. Saw lots of fat bikes crossing, DNR check point, and about 100 sleds at the only place open for lunch. My recommendation; If you plan to eat on the island, plan a little earlier or later than the lunch crowd.
