going to whitepine looking for info for trails to ride and things to see will be there 3days

As was previously mentioned Lake of the Clouds is a short ride from White Pine, you should also head north up the Keweenaw Peninsula, don't miss the all you can eat dinner buffet at Henry's in Rockland after 5:00 PM on Friday or Saturday night.

You should be able to go to Houghton and back in an easy day, all the way to Copper Harbor would be a pretty good trip already. To Houghton you get to cross the Firesteel trestles. Another day you could go east and make a good loop, maybe towards Baraga and Lanse. Another day go a little south into Wisconsin, if conditions are ok. We stayed at the Konteka a couple weeks ago and had a great weekend. The food was good, great bartender, and they have gas. Otherwise just grab a map and pick a loop, anyway you go will be good.
