Okay...so here are some pics from last week in West Yellowstone. It snowed all but one day! Plenty of powder to play in. It was awesome!

Thanks for posting these shots. We're leaving this Thursday, (3/8), for West Yellowstone and will be there for 5 days. If this doesn't get my heart pumping, nothing will. Can't wait!

Doesn't look like it gets much better than that! Wow. Is there anything more beautiful than snow covered pictures like that? Not that we can post here any way!

Jake...

Where are you staying? There is nothing like snowmobiling in West Yellowstone! The best times! Make sure you stop at Gusher's pizza and pasta. Best dang pizza you ever had, and wednesday night is spaghetti night...all you can eat!

Have a great time and stop by the Dessert Inn Best Western and give Marty and John a hard time for me!!!

We're staying at the Bar N Ranch, about 6 miles outside of West Yellowstone. I'll make sure to grab some pizza from Gusher's. Thanks.

Great pictures! I was there 2 years ago and now I saw these I can't wait to go back. Maybe next year. Glad you had a good time.

Jake, try to get to Two Tops (on a clear day), Mesa Falls and Big Springs, they are all neat in there own way. And watch out for the trees, they suck you in!

You're right about the 60 degree temps! It was beautiful riding in West Yellowstone with such warm temps...only problem is we missed out on all the powder by about 4 or 5 days. Oh well, maybe next year.

Rode to the top of Lion Head last Saturday, the 10th. I followed our guide up to about 10,100'...definitely the highest this flat lander has EVER been on a snowmobile. What a rush.

Also rode around Two Top and had a blast hill climbing. Since the snow was set up, I didn't have to worry about getting stuck, (unlike my buddy Vince....sorry Vince!)

Also stopped at Big Springs, had lunch at Meadow Creek, tipped a few back at Strozzi's....basically had one of the best times I've ever had snowmobiling and I've been riding for 32 years. I'll try posting some pictures of my trip under this thread or a new thread soon.

Jake.

Jake, I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself! Hope you and your pals get to come back again. Our summer only camp is behind Mac's Inn On your way to Big Springs. Its kept rustic on purpose. Last summer couldn't go to two top on fat tire pedal bikes. The Grizzlies have taken up residence or were raising young. And definatelly happy you used a guide on Lion's Head because lost a young man there this winter in an avalanche. Liz
