western UP / ironwood

Any one have any updates or reports on the ironwood/ hurley area. we are heading up there for Friday thru Sunday. Been so busy with work I havent had a chance to check how much snow they've gotten/ trail conditions.

Hurley area trails are in good to excellent, hats off to the White thunder riders club, and also the Ironwood to marenesco trail will be groomed on Friday am. and huge thanks to the GRTA for all they are doing with what we have to work with and the equipment problems they have had prior to now. Keep up the good job.

Put on 195 miles on Friday and 185 on saturday and what a great trip.

Friday... Took 2 to 11 to Lake Goegebic and back to Hurley. 95% of of the trails were awesome!!!!!!! Didn't see a ton of sleds on the trails and was as good of riding as we have had all year.

Saturday... Took 2 to 3 to 8 back to Ironwood. 75% were awesome... 25% were pretty choppy. Better than what we expected for a Saturday in the UP.

Was just a great weekend... minus the mechanical problems we have!
