Western UP Polaris dealers???

Hi all. I'm in need of some help. I'm going to spring check a 2015 Polaris next month. I figure since I do most of my riding in the western part of the UP, I may as well have my dealer somewhat close by. I want a straight shooter and a great customer service oriented business to deal with. Someone who will have most common parts in stock and/or be willing to take off of an inventory sled if need be. So who is the name of the dealer that I need to call to place my order? Please explain why...

I appreciate all opinions.

Probably gonna have an overwhelming response for Pats in Greenland. Others will fill in the why. I will send my business there way for sure.

Yeeppp, the overwhelming answer is gonna be Pat's Motorsports in Greenland. I bought a 2014 Switchback Assault from them in December. Kip the owner is great. Everyone that works there is great. They are really nice people and they take excellent care of their customers. BTW, I live 8.5 hours away in Iowa.

I have heard many good things about Pat's as well. My Mountain SRX was born there. In the far western UP there is Cloverland motors/ Polaris/Ski Doo dealer.(906) 932-1202 Great people to deal with from the experience i'v had there.

Cloverland are good guys also. I thought they just did rentals but I could be wrong. The 2 mentioned are all you need to consider. Id just pretend there aren't any others

Thank you to all who replied. It is much appreciated. I had heard of Pat's on this forum before but not Cloverland. Any others I should consider calling? Where are all the local Houghton and Keweenaw County Youpers at? There has to be more than just two Polaris dealers in the western UP? For whatever reason, Polaris website just gives me lower peninsula dealers. What about over in Marquette? Or down in Iron Mountain? How about up in Houghton or Hancock? Or maybe in a smaller city/town like Cloverland or Greenland? I'll give this thread more time to evolve and also see what the 2015 Polaris line-up looks like before making any calls. I'm so geeked for the new models to come out...and even more geeked to be able to order a new sled.

There are others but they aren't being mentioned for good reason. Just remember the best price is NOT your best deal.

Not sure you need to worry too much about the "local Yoopers" as many of us live a ways away but would drive a long way to ride the UP and buy a sled from Kip. I like to have a good relationship with a local to where I ride dealer and I don't know anything about Cloverland, but I know Kip will do almost anything for you.

Yes, Sooo true. I will NOT be price shopping. I know that good customer service is worth way more than a few hundy I would save by price shopping. I am as loyal as one can get if I get the warm, comfey feeling. I'm a good judge of character and can pretty quickly see thru most a$$ clowns trying to pull one over on me. I just want good honest people to deal with. One that I can settle into a long lasting loyal relationship with. That's the warm comfy I'm talking about.

might be easier if you tell us you most common riding area also. Cloverland and Pats are quite a ways apart.

He said WUPMI & best bet is Pat's for the the type of dealer he is looking for & I agree buy where you ride+ Pat's & Kip will let you test ride before you buy only dealer I will let wrench on my sled. Heard some very bad things about service from others....Lando Rec is good but a doo dealer.

Pat's in Greenland, ask for Kip 1-906-883-3536, after you talk with him you will have answered your own question.

Depending on where you are coming from, Sportsman's in Three Lakes, WI is a great dealer also. Honest people. Three Lakes is just south of Eagle River.

I drive 600 miles one way to buy at Pat's, you will not find better customer service anywhere maybe as good but not better.

Update: Ordered my 2015 RMK from Joe over there at Pat's Motorsport's today. The wait is going to suk!
