No helmets. I just don't get it.

A 7-year-old Town of Polk boy was killed after a snowmobile accident. The crash happened on private property just before noon on Saturday.

Investigators say the boy was on the snowmobile with an adult at the time of the collision. The snowmobile spun out of control and overturned several times, injuring the driver and critically injuring the boy.

the driver was taken to a hospital and it being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The boy was pronounced dead at St. Joseph's Hospital.

I hate to hear that kind of stuff, the adult riding him will have to live with this forever. The article doesn't say if it was his parent or not. Just plain stupidty on the adults \.

Too Sad.

It's stories like this, that we make our boys wear their helmets even when they are on the little battery operated 4-wheeler

Gotta keep them kids safe.

That's horrrible to hear!!! I have a 5 and 6 year old that im starting to involved in sledding horror stories like this just makes me very skeptical about waiting a bit.. My prayers good out to the family of this poor boy....
