What are the "must see" things in Munising?

Foggy's in Christmas (just west of Munising) - very good steaks. Saturday is Prime Rib special.

Casino in Christmas (right across from Foggy's) - if you are into that kind of thing.

Ride to Grand Marais is a nice ride.

Go down to Big Spring...Definitely worth the ride.

Ride to Grand Marais and take the trail closest to Lake Superior (8 to 809 and back on 8 I believe).
I love to see the water.

Also, take the short trip to Miners Castle, walk out onto the wood overlook and take a picture.

1. Lakenenland, by Tom Lakenen. (Yes, it's his name; it's Finnish!)
2. Tahquamenon Falls. (Michigan's Niagara, a.k.a. "Root Beer Falls", due to all the tannin in the water.)

Miners falls
Miners Castle
Eben Falls... However don't know how they look with warm temps, and be prepared to walk a bit, would ask someone first, depending how they are, DEFINATELY worth the walk
Jack Pine... Interesting place to stop.... Great Pizza and ask about elizia the indian... if he is still there

Does anyone know if Grand Island was ever able to accessed this winter? When the ice is good, that is the coolest place to ride and also see the ice waterfalls on the east side.

Kingston Plains is good off trail riding on the way to Grand Marais.

If you know where you are going..... West is ok. It is a sketchy year with warm temps. Stupidity out there can = death
Lots of ice heaves this year.
