When we were up at our camp in Ishpeming over Thanksgiving weekend. One of the little ones said uncle marty i saw a animal. So i got him inside the cabin and we waited. We saw the animal and to us FIPS it looked like a white ferret. We played around with this thing all day . When my good yooper friends came over i showed them and their kids . They laughed at me and said thats a weasel. It is pure white with a black tip on his tail . He is a cute thing. After i thought about this for awhile , our chipmunk problems were getting fewer . So Mr. Weasel is living up at our camp . We owned that camp for 9 yrs. and we never saw him before. I hope were doing the right thing?

I think a white weasel is sometimes known as an Ermine.
I saw one while skiing at Mt Bohemia one time. I was riding up the chair lift and it was running down the hill, diving through piles of snow. It was having just as much fun as I was.

My parents bought their lake cabin in 1972 and we went out there every weekend all year long. It had a small basement with a wood burning stove and we kept our snowmobile suits and helmets down there. There was a weasel that could go in and out of the cabin somehow and when we would grab our suits sometimes he would jump out of an arm or the top of the suit. We never had a mouse all winter.

Some of them go by the name Richard J. Daley, the mayor of Chicago in case you never heard of him.
Theres a few more of those at the White House now too!
