what do you cook at sled camp?

I like a slowcooker full of chili, just waiting for you to get back. doesn't matter if you are in a motel or a cabin, just plug it in. I also never leave home without a grill.

When I stay with rp7x outside of Mass City at a camp with no electricity or water, he usually cooks ham, egg and cheese sandwiches for breakfast and at night barbeque chicken is a favorite. We also eat out at night most of the time. rp7x is a good cook. :)

We always have big plans to cook dinner at camp but it always seems to fall through. We usually will bring chili or a big pan of lasagn, which ends up more being a fill in meal. Breakfast is our bigger meal, usually biscuits and gravy, side of bacon of course! Majority of time we end up eating out. I personally really like riding late at night (I know it might be more dangerous) but I can see so much better.

When we stay at D's with our group of 15 we bring a big breakfast dish like a scrambler with us. Bed of hash browns, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, peppers, onions and cheese on top. Pre cook it all and heat it up in the oven. We cook one each morning and they are in those large turkey roaster foil pans. Usually also have bagels, yogurt, and some other stuff in fridge. Then we eat out lunch and dinner.

Eggs, sausage, bacon and UP picked blueberry pancakes every morning. Chili dogs, chicken noodle soup with biscuits, maybe a brisket sitting in the smoker all day. All this in my cabin sitting off the grid. Love eating almost as much as riding!!

If we don't bring food, it's just that much faster we are out on the trails looking for breakfast.

Usually bring aspirin for the morning, mtn dew for morning, beer for after ride story telling time, and toilet paper.

We usually do a big breakfast Pancakes, eggs and bacon, french toast, biscuits and gravy, stuff that gives you a warm belly. Dinner is usually cooked in the slow cooker all day. Italian beef, chicken and biscuits, pot roast, etc.

I've done a prime rib roast a couple times but that was for New Years, otherwise keep it simple. Good breakfast, we do have a waffle maker, so eggs or waffles or stuff like that!

I don't cook. If I am at smurfriders cabin we eat real well. Grilled steaks, baked potato and chop salad on Saturday night. Breakfast is done by buckfity, usually a scramble of everything good and toast. Lunch is usually Burger basket while out.

Always make a huge breakfast our last big group trip we had 17 people with us at the cabin so it was epic lots of bacon and biscuits and gravy typically lunch at a nice bar pizza or burgers something that is greasy then dinner at the trout lake tavern is kinda a tradition with a little to much to drink. Haha

At my camp we usually have a easy breakfast . We bring a bunson burner and cast iron skillet. Sometimes we bring pre cut steaks marinated and cook in the skillet. Sometimes we bring marinated shrimp and cook the same way . Bring water and what ever else . We ride the backwoods and are never close to places to eat . Its probably been 12 years since we ate out when riding .
