This topic has been discussed a lot in our area. Moose flourished around here in the late 70,s through the early 90's. Since then it is extremely rare to see one. The MN DNR has said they thought it was related to global warming but Moose are thriving in central and western ND where it is much warmer and drier than MN or northeastern ND. That does not make sense if it is due to a warmer climate. They have been studying the moose around here for years and still have no real answer. Maybe they will figure it out someday.
