What is the best utility type snowmobiles to purchase?

I am looking for a utility type snowmobile, one with a wide track and a storage basket on the back. I know Polaris made one, are there others brands available? I basically want a work horse, not a speed machine as I want to use it for my husband to follow me with my sled dog team, or possible in front to bust out trails. I appreciate any input. Thanks. Maggie,

A Yamaha VK Pro is a very good utility snowmobile. Under seat storage. Rear storage rack and rear hitch. It's also 4 stroke so economy is great and no oil usage. Standard with electric start and reverse. Also the Polaris Voyager is a very nice utility sled. It's a 600 fuel injected two stroke with a rear rack and hitch. The VK Pro is a two seater while the Voyager is a single seater. Both would serve your purpose well. Feel free to call me if you're interested or need more information. My number is 906-883-3536. Hope you found this info. helpful. Kip

The latest episode of Sled Head 24-7 did a comparison of different utility sleds that may be worth watching.

All OEMs make utility snowmobiles. No idea what is best for you but 4s nice & heavy to pack down trails all come with baskets & rear utility racks. 4s probably better for dogs busting trails don't have to breath 2s smoke I know I would not want to smell smoke when mushing.

yup just watched it.
it seems like they all pretty much have the same features one of the test riders noted that the ski doo was more comfortable with the rider forward position. the artic cat sled was voted best overall utility sled of the three oem's they compared.
