Is it around April 24? or through May? Not that it will matter, I see the governor extending it one more month for better or worse....

get out and vote if you haven't already.

Evers will take his ques from Chicago and Detroit, Minneapolis etc. even though 95% of the cases are in just a few WI counties.

Supposed to be april 24th but someone must really have blinders on if they think magically things will be better then, " for better or worse?" IT WOULD BE FOR THE WORSE if they did extend it! I have news for everyone, this isn't going away any time soon, 18 monts for viable vaccine... that carries us through next flu season so there really is no definite end date and I think isolation is just going to slow its progress. WE NEED TO TURN THE ECONOMY BACK ON!

18 months? We'll be driving horse & buggy by then. Anyone know a good blacksmith?

Agreed! because that is what we will need if this economic shut down continues, but when is the magical date? needs to be sooner than later! I hope they stick to the april 24th date but I don't see the criers allowing that to happen.

This is becoming political real fast. Take Election Day here in Wisconsin, postponed one day and back on the next day. Some would say it's hazardous to vote in public yet Absentee Ballots have been available for weeks. Why would you wait until the last day before requesting one. It looks like there are some that would like to see the current state of affairs continue for ideological reasons.

I think MN is still April 10th. I don't see that sticking, probably the end of April now.

Even though we are laying off nurses because they have nothing do to, and the Hospitals CAN'T AFFORD to keep them on. WHAT?? Just doesn't make sense to me. Even if they extend it, PAY THEM, TRAIN THEM, PREPARE THEM!

If we are having to let our most vital resource, and employees go on furlough at this time, why are we continuing to kick this can down the road??

And if we are still to be Social Distancing, parents better start talking to their kids, because they are most certainly NOT following that. I see it everyday, I live backed up to one of the local high schools here.

Saw a report last night that WI peak is now April 17th [its worst day]. If that is correct, I don't believe we will be back until at least June 1.

And... if it was such a big issue... the gov had plenty of time to try to change it instead of a day or two before, this has become more than political and it makes you wonder.

We went for a drive around town the other night kids wanted to see how many people had hearts on there windows, driving by the school playground there were 7 teenagers playing basketball together we followed the local Barney right by them didn't even stop to at least talk to them, beings a small town I know the kids and parents and to be honest it wouldn't do any good for him to tell them to leave anyways because God forbid your kids are accountable for there decisions, plus the playgrounds are closed right now

Cops sat out here one evening last Thursday, that was it. Last night they took a lead from some of the Sconnie schools and lit up the school stadiums for 20 minutes for those kids whose Senior years have been ruined. 50-60 cars, all "Social Distancing" - yeah right! Feel bad for those kids.

After 1000's more people acquire it in Wis. because they can't postpone the primaries today our peak will be in May.

Idiots.

Senior years have been ruined yes I'll never forgot the spring if senior year it was a blast, I feel bad for our senior girl sport teams as well my sister is head volleyball and softball coach, they got 2nd in state in volleyball and were in the state quarter finals for basketball before it got cancelled and last year made softball state and pretty much brought everyone back this year so should've done well in that too,

Anyone who cares to vote knew a very long time ago the election was scheduled for April 7, 2020, absentee ballots are easy to get.....more should have planned ahead

We voted Absentee, wife's idea. Easy Peasy, they mail you the ballot, fill it out, drop it in the mailbox. Done!

In fact it is so easy I'll probably never go out to vote again.

It's just some more dirty tricks by the GOP. Nobody cares about the presidential candidates. What makes this election important is the seat that's up for grabs on the Supreme Court. GOP figures if they can force the election now many Dem voters will stay home out of fear of catching the covid-19 and their GOP candidate will sweep to victory. What a low down dirty trick they are pulling this time putting voters health at risk.

Dem strongholds in Madison and Milwaukee were absentee and in person voting a week ahead of the rest of the state. Thats why Evers had no intention of changing April 7. Then guess what? they found that early voting turnout in the rest if the state ....mostly GOP strongholds....was catching and surpassing the early cheats in MKE and MAD. That's where Ever's silly last ditch effort to change voting day came into play 12 hours before the polls opened.

In their infinite wisdom, MKE decided to only open 5 polling locations of the normal 180 today....this forced everyone to cram into crowded conditions....exactly the worse thing that could be arranged at this time. They did this even though they had the WI Nat Guard members at their disposal to be poll workers.
