I vote for Wilson's idea.this could be a type of kill switch thingy that needs to be plugged in to complete a circuit, we used to install these type of things in the 70's to prevent a car from starting, you just plugged it in somwhere on the dash or some-where convenient, the jack was then just carried in your pocket or on a key chain, i'm sure it would work just as well as a kill switch on a sled
