What is this trailer worth X2?

I am interested in this Triton trailer. Does anybody know what a nice single place 12' with cap is selling for? FYI it is a 2008 MY. I was told by the current owner that it is also possible to fit a Large motorcycle for use in the summer. Thanks!

Not sure I'd go that route. I went with a regular 6" X 12" enclosed trailer. Paid $2600 for it brand new, and use it for all kinds of stuff. Just a thought if you're only planning on hauling one sled. It really works great!

Thanks for the replys! Someone told me that this type of trailer was about the same price of a 2 place even though it is only half the size (width). Given this would $2,500 be a reasonable price to pay? Thanks again for the advice!

It still looks new. I'm know how much it's worth 'cause I'm picking up a new one next week. Had one like that been for sale prior to my order, I would have snatched it up. I don't need or want the extra drag, therefore I'm willing to pay about the same price as a two place. I'd buy it if I were you.

I have the same trailer without the top. I recall paying around 1200 for mine about 5 years ago. The single has a lot less resistance in the wind when pulling, you hardly know it's back there. In my case I have sides and end gates that bolt on during the summer months as I'm always hauling somethng, somewhere. The single takes up less room when it's parked and I've had no issues with bearings, wiring, etc.

IMHO Triton makes a quality trailer that's made in the U.S.A.

A rarity these days!

Single place trailers are nice, especially for ease of storage. But you may be able to get a used two place enclosed drive-on drive-off for the same price. A two-place will follow in your truck tracks if you're towing in a snowstorm. And if you're going on trips to the UP with friends, your sled may end up on your friends' open 2 or 3 or 4 place trailers while your nice, expensive single place enclosed trailer sits at home. Just my $0.02.

Thanks for all the remarks on this! Note the LT5W has the same size (6' width) axle as the two place Triton trailers so I don't think this would be any different than if a two place was being towed except for about 1/2 the drag and better visibility! However, thanks for the suggestion Maximumpsi.

Note the trailer will be at the Milwaukee Swap on Saturday for anybody who is interested in mint single place covered trailer for several hundred dollars less than the price of a new one!
