what's this trailer worth

looking at buying an inline trailer. What is it worth?

It is a 2002 halmark, steel frame, 3-place, in-line, finished interior, comes with spare.

It needs brake work, a few lights, a good bath and some polishing.

what do you look for on the steel frame as far as longevity? I am worried about rust...

The trailer I am selling is a 2002 triton elite 102 wide, 10' long, with a black cap. what is it worth?

If it's a Haulmark Model FVT7X21WT2, a new 2011 can be had for around $6000 factory pick up in Bristol Indiana.

A 9-10 year old trailer, depending upon condition, should sell for about 1/2 price or $3000 +/-

Rust is a concern, but if it looks & feels pretty solid, it probably is. Usually the skin is the first thing to start rotting.

Like cars & trucks, the frames mainly rust from the inside out. Stab around with an ice pick. If you poke through, walk away.

Same 1/2 price value (current. no in 02) starting point on the cap trailer.
