Pushing to overide Gov. Doyles VETO of a bill that would have given all the power of the WI. DNR to a NON-ELECTED board whos members are enviro-nazi treehugger types???
It was one of the few times Doyle had the right idea in the past 7+ years....The good news is the overide failed, mostly due to the Dems. runnin scared in the upcoming 2010 elections.....The appointment of the DNR Secretary will remain in the hands of the elected Governor in WI.

Personally I think the position of the DNR cheif should be an elected, by the ppl, position with all the power they are given.

Lately,I think re-election is the only thing that stops a lot of nasty things from happening.

Hey Snobuilder, I was talking to some guys from Burlington at the "Irish Waters" in Three Lakes Saturday night. I mentioned John Dee's Website and they were familiar with it. Just wondering if that was you.

BUT,...there was a local guy from our club that got married on the trail around B.J., this past weekend.
