Why did this thread get pulled? I've seen a lot worse on this site and the threads don't get pulled. A little consistency would be nice.

Nothing worse than you see most everyday on here. I'm sure they will let us know why so we don't make the same mistake again.

I pulled it because things were getting personal. Sorry if I am not consistent enough for some of you, but maybe if everyone just ALL obeyed the rules, then there would be no inconsistencies to worry about.

You nailed it on the head. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out to spread the offense out & you will be able to throw at will & eventually run it out of the spread. I'm just frustrated because they only had Brett throw 8 times in the first half & that wont get it done. Look back at the winning streak & you will see it consisted mostly of what you saw in the 2nd half last night.

I really hate to admit this, not that I thought Chilly's play calling was all that special, but he has to let Favre make some calls on the fly to get it done.

Prime example, look at their two 1st and goal possessions in the 2nd half.

1st one, Chilly changes personel, Bears comply, stop Peterson.
2nd one, Favre says "Get up here, we're running a play" and Peterson WALKS in.

That's what needs to happen, let the control go there Chilly, and it will get done as you hope.

That, and the defense needs to figure out a way to survive without their QB. Henderson going down has proven to be a bigger loss than anything so far this year.

When a rat pack like the bears 2nd & 3rd stringers gives you more than you can handle. YOU GOT TROUBLE!! I'm a Bear fan & never saw that upset coming. Bears always find a way to lose seems like Vikes & Bears switched places for that game. Vikes sooooooooooooooo FLAT on both sides of the ball. With playoffs coming Vikes won't go far playing that way. Pack may have better chance & seem to be peaking at the right time. Good game when exspecting a blowout. Vikes better dig deep or all over. No 1 player or coach fault it is a team problem. Do Vikes want to win???

Xcr 440 hit it on the head. Henderson going down at line backer has hurt the d so we need to spread the offense out & score a lot of points because the d-fense is not what it was mid-year. Dont count the vikes out yet as they can right the ship at home against the giants to build some mojo. Remember every game they lost was on the road.

Just reality finally checking in....lol. In all seriousness, I think far and away is there once nearly top rated defense is now killing them. Made Cutler and the bears look like all-pros last night.

What's wrong with the Vikes...Uniforms..Farvra..Chilly..Peterson..the horn..the mascott..the dome..the fake pig tails..dirty Jared..you name it. Soon you vike fans will feel the pain Farvra can dish out at the end of the season.

What bothers me is that was the Bears last night & they are NOT a good Football team & will not be a good team for sometime maybe as much as 2-3 years in future maybe more. Vikes were looking like All World & have the players now. I don't know Vikes flater than flat as a team. I hoped they would do the North Divison proud in playoffs now they could lose the first game. Something is very wrong.

The problems are simple. One...the offensive and defensive lines are both losing at the point of attack. All of these so-called "All Pro's" have been reading the newspapers about how good they are and are mailing it in. Secondly...the coach is a control freak, who is too rigid to allow audibles to a veteran QB who has actually played football, and can recognize tendencies and coverages. Thirdly...the RB has to hold onto the ball. Finally, the Vikings should stop worrying about home field, and just show up for the game and actually play.

Everyone here is making some good points. Not that anything WE say changes anything in MN. I personally, think that Favre is the control freak at QB, and he is knocking heads with the coach. I do agree that Favre should be given some leeway to change calls. He is the only 3x MVP for a reason. That being said, the Packers recognized years ago that the end of the season is hard on an old guy. They also recognized that Favre was handcuffing the Packers organization as far as draft picks, signing free agents, etc. I love Favre. He is one of the best players at any position in the history of the NFL. However, he needs to recognize that time has come to move on. My den is dedicated to the Packers, and Favre autographed pics. Hated to see him leave- especially the way it ended up. However, Rodgers is THE MAN now. He is flying under the NFL "Elite QB" radar. That is fine with me. I love the Packers chances against anyone during the playoffs.
I also agree that a huge part of the Vikings problem is their gruesome new uniform. They looked so much better this season when they played in their original designed uniform. At least the purple jersey matched the helmet. Also, Da Bearrsss played a great game last night.
GO PACK GO!!!!!!!

I was at the game. It seemed as though everyone in the stadium was expecting the Vikes to blow out the bears.....Good luck bears in the upcoming drafts!

My outlook is this: A team can have all the talent they want, but it is useless when they don't show up to play or don't care anymore.

Here's to hoping they can salvage something out of this season.

Favre is not the problem, it is chilly. he's been a horrible playcaller for years, everyone in the state wanted him gone 2 years ago. We get allen and get better, then we get favre and get better. Any coach who is getting those types of players should improve. Why was chilly given the ext? because ownership got him better players? What did we all think was going to happen, adding 2 pro bowlers would hurt us? It is all coaching. What do you think coach tomlin would be doing if he were here. We should have never let him get away! We've upgraded at every posistion but need a new coach, that's it, that's been our problem for years. chilly's finally warming up to the media which is irritating as **** to see him joking around with sid and the rest after a loss like that! I HATE BRAD CHILDRESS!!!!
