When in China......pass on the bat soup

It is said that all of this started by someone in bum____ China eating some bat soup, I could’ve only imagine if he would’ve passed on the bat soup and ate the gorilla soup instead, here’s what could’ve happened
(1) we would all be scurrying around hoarding bananas
(2) there would be a shortage on gorilla glue (legal and illegal)
(3) we would all have an insatiable urge to start climbing and swinging from tree to tree

I was still looking for my first laugh of the day, and there it was. And then I jumped over to Wikipedia and read this...

Bats are consumed in various amounts in some regions within some Asian, African, European, and Pacific Rim countries and cultures, including Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, China, and Guam.

All wildlife trade in China, including bat meat, was banned in January 2020 in response to the coronavirus pandemic which originated in Wuhan.

So we got that going for us, which is nice!

seeing video of these "wet" markets in China I honestly can't believer there isn't a pandemic that sweeps the globe every 6 months.

Not surprised in China they offer fried whole chicks as well street vendors. They eat insects too. Crazy to us everyday thing for them.

I've been in a couple. Definitely something I won't forget. Hard to describe but they are so tightly packed and everything is literally wet. Tons of animals still alive, etc.

So have I. The other guy I was with was amazed that they had a food court and pet store so close together....the look on his face when I said it was all a food court was priceless! We are truly blessed here. I hope that when everything returns to normal we take things a little less for granted. Stay safe everyone.
