Going to be crossing the bridge around 730am tomorrow morning, heard vansville. We was roped off for parking bc of frost line coming up. Does anyone know of a good place to drop sleds and leave truck/trailer? Also heard we could drop at cliff view drive? But don't know where that is. We usually always drop at calumet, but heard it no good there to Mohawk. Appreciate all input, currently heading up to lake house from Chicago, any info? Or places to call?

Just Google map search "Cliff Drive, Phoenix, MI" and it should come right up for you. The turn off of 41 is less than a mile "south" of the Vansville, right at the bottom of the hill staring up at the cliffs.

And if that doesn't work for you (It didn't for me.), then just search Google maps for '47.299599, -88.391265", and it'll put you right at Cliff Drive (M-26), at the US-41/M-26 split, ≈ 1,280 ft. beyond Hubble Street in 'beautiful downtown Ahmeek" ,MI.

Thanks a bunch guys, I can see cliff drive on the map before vansville. This helped us out a lot! Assuming we can just park on the side of the road there unless I see something different. Thanks again!

Rode all over there on Saturday and overall the trails were great. Thin on brockway and a few other hills were getting burnt and highrock was a little rough but honestly really nice overall. Do not park south of cliffview drive or you'll be riding a few miles of mud and rocks on an overheating sled.

Same here. Me an my son were up there on Saturday, dropped off at Cliff Drive 8:30am, and then headed north. Took 3 to copper harbor, then all of 134 to Lac Le Belle and had lunch at Bear Belly, then headed back on 134 to 3 to 130 that goes to Eagle Harbor & Eagle River, then took 124 down to Gay and stopped at Gay Bar, then headed back on 124 to 3 and stopped at Vansville Bar. Thanked Jerry for all his info of the conditions to make this last trip memorable for my son and I. Trail conditions were great, but as tack836 said, there were a few short spots of mud near towns and bare at the towns. Probably only seen 12 sleds all day and none until around noon when we headed back from copper harbor.

We dropped in at Bruce Crossing this morning, trail 3 great to Mass City! The snow they hauled in really helped, can't believe what a difference it made. I'll post some pix when we get to the Squitter for Bloody Mary's.

Last hoorah, better make today a great one!

Will be 60F today...nice!

Personally IMO wouldn't call it NICE keep crossing my fingers for the storms down south to pull some arctic air down, and get a rideable April snowstorm.
Only good thing about early spring is getting back to work early.

Give it up , I put the snowmobiles away yesterday and got the Goldwing out, would rather be on my sleds but was fun to get on the bike too.
