Where to mount my new GoPro

I just got a GoPro Hero 3 for christmas and was wondering where to mount it? I have seen people mount them on the top and on the side of there helmets. Was just wondering where you have mounted yours and why you like it mounted there.

I mounted mine on the right side of my helmet. If I had it on top I would have knocked it off on low hanging branches a dozen times. The left side the plug for the heated shield was in the way.

I have the gopro on the top center of my helmet. Just personal preference for the most part.

I like it on the side for ease of operation....

I have it on the left side so you miss branches and get the oncoming sleds.
